Be Healed

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)

What is it going to take for Christian people to stand up and be counted as acceptable in the sight of the Lord? (Ps 19:14)

It seems the modern Church has become dumb, or should that be lazy? What a really sad state of affairs. Evil/sin as clearly defined in our Sacred Scripture, that is a definite turning away from God – is going on in our sight, yet we are quiet, complacent and even blind to it all.

While preparing to write this, I am reminded that the current “in vogue” expression for homosexuality is GAY…… there is nothing gay about living a life as a homosexual or lesbian. The word ‘gay’ became part of the language used to describe a happy event, something to be joyous about. Yes?

Then please explain to me what there is to be happy about when you consider that you have broken God’s law….  The book of Leviticus says it plainly:Homosexual acts are an abomination to God. 18:22. Very stark and very plain!

Others have said to me that the Bible is nothing to them and it is purely a load of old rubbish. I will have to accept that there are some who do not subscribe to the pathways of the Lord Yahweh, but have they also decided that the Koran is unacceptable to them as well? Muslims abhor homosexuality too.

In Judaism, Christianity and Islam, the penalty for breaking the Law of God is death. To me that death is in eternal separation from my Creator God. You choose how to define that. I find it a great heavy sadness to hear people say there is no God, that the three great world religions mentioned above are not worth following, because they are fake!

These people have no future beyond this moment in time. After all who can tell when life as we know it will cease to be? Have you timetabled, or booked in your last breath? And then what happens, are you going to become part of the ether? Perhaps you will manifest as a Part of Gaia?  Or maybe you expect to become a wisp of light on some distant planet? However you describe your thoughts of what will happen to you after your body dies, if it does not encompass returning to your Creator, then I think you are sadly disillusioned.

The Creator of life set the parameters. They were in the most simplistic of terms, so that even our early ancestors could follow them. And here we have another series of generations denying the validity of His Rules. It has happened before, remember the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah (commencing at 2:28).  Do you really believe God does not exist? That God does not keep His promises? Would you bet your entire eternal future on that?

The Island State of Tasmania (Australia) is proposing to be the first State in the Nation to sanction Homosexual Marriage. The Premier Lara Giddings feels confident it will pass into law. People, I do not think she is aware of the danger she is placing the entire state into, and even more worrisome – she does not believe what she is planning on doing is wrong. To her way of thinking all she is doing is removing a discriminatory practise disallowing same sex couples to marry. To my way of thinking she is being used as the play thing of Satan, and all of Tasmania will suffer the consequences in time.

I ask you to pray for the conversion of Lara Giddings (may she have her own Damascus event) and for the members of the various political parties in Tasmania to stand against her plan. I ask Christians to unite in this purpose to defy the will of the evil one and bring God’s rule and purpose to bear on the Island of Tasmania. Pray as if your very life depended on it  –  IT DOES!
